CONSTRUCTION
The R Range pots consist of a heat insulated heating container provided with a handle and forming air bath. This enclosure contains a removable bowl also fitted with a handle. EEC plug with cord.
OPERATION
The heat emitted over a large area is transmitted to the products through a double wall made of copper which is good conductor of the heat.
The temperature is controlled by an adjustable thermostat which allows to keep it automatically at the required value.
Therefore it is not necessary to use an oil or water bathNOTICE OF USE
Take out the wax from its Aluminium pack, break it into pieces and melt it over a gas or electric heater.
It is however preferable to possess a melter with a thermostat as shown on our photo. Thus the wax whall not be too liquid nor too hot or too cold. Mix and stir from time to time the melted wax.
Thorougly wipe the neck of the bottle together with the stopper with a dry cloth to eradicate any humidity.
Dip the bottle in the container and pull out the bottle while giving it a rotating clockwise twist with the hand. This allows the wax to smooth itself out thus avoiding drippings along the bottle.
Let it cool.
WARNING : Should your colour change (for instance, becoming chestnut), it is caused by your wax being heated too much. The temperature must not go over 150°C.
To render the wax more fluid, you may add about 5 to 10 grams of paraffin per kilo of wax.
Therefore, after use, pour your wax either in boat-shaped receptacles made of aluminium or on a metal sheet plate.
we do recommand to put in your pot a small-sized grate at about 1/4 of the bowl, this allows to put the wax to melt behind the grate during the process.
